Contre-Jour is a unisex niche fragrance from Editions de Parfums Frederic Malle, created by perfumer Annick Menardo. It is built around three main materials rather than a classic pyramid: everlasting flower (immortelle), which gives a dry, spicy, almond-like warmth, an intense rose absolute, and creamy sandalwood oil. The result is warm, aromatic and a little honeyed, with a smooth woody finish. It suits cooler weather and evenings. This is the 1.7 oz (50 ml) Eau de Parfum spray, brand new in its sealed retail box.
